elizabeth wenger. >> i'm brian hackney. frank and michelle are off today. >>> grief-stricken newtown, connecticut has begun laying to rest the littlest victims of the sandy hook shootings starting with two 6-year-old boys. first we go live to cbs reporter randall pinkston in newtown with the latest on the investigation. good afternoon, randall. >> reporter: connecticut police say the locations of the shooting sandy hook elementary school and the home where adam lanza lived with his mother are crime investigation scenes. authorities are engaged in an intense investigation trying to find as much information as they can about what led to friday's horrific crime. people sobbed and held each other as they arrived for 6- year-old jack pinto's funeral one of 26 to be held in this community over the coming days. noah pozner will also be laid to rest today. elisa doesn't know the families but plans to attend. >> we just want to be there for the families. i think they're inconsolable. i would be. >> reporter: police say the people died after 20-year-old adam lanza shot his way into the

hackney. >>i'm elizabeth wenger. frank and michelle are off. >>> we have our hi-def doppler very busy rain all over the bay area. looks like it's going to be a wet week. >> no morning should begin without your hi-def doppler. let's get a look at it with lawrence karnow. >> what would you do without your hi-def doppler? >> i wouldn't want to know. >> it was one of the greatest advances in the bay area when we finally got it here. looks like today we are starting to show more moisture outside just some scattered showers about the bay area. and you can see that rolling on n a lot of low-level moisture. we are seeing some mis, drizzle and light showers at this hour but we do have some pockets that you want to be aware of. you can see some of that moisture near livermore in near the 580. watch out in that direction. continuing to see some of that rain all around the bay area. you will find it inside the bay and oakland and berkeley. we have more storms coming our way. we'll talk about that coming up. >> thank you. >>> in newtown, connecticut the first funerals are planned today for two of
